Rewatching these reports and the video is so damn difficult. It is infuriating, but I try to take something positive out of it. For the first time, I learned of Welles Crowther, a volunteer fireman who was working his job in the tower that day but who saved many and lost his life in doing so. The people on flight 93 who refused to let the plane they were on to be used by the terrorists (the people in the plane waited until they were over a rural area to storm the cockpit). The countless hero’s whose names we will never here from mainstream media. These men and women who were real hero’s, not propped up and used by politicians and falsely glorified by the media to pander to the sheep, but real hero’s who kicked *** and gave everything to help and save anyone who needed them. People who, in the face of great danger and a high likelihood of being seriously hurt or dying, made the personal decision, the selfless decision, to save and to help. Actual hero’s.
