Who are some of the teams to watch out for in 3A? I know Greene Central has 2-3 guys (seniors this year) that were key components in winning their state championship two years ago against Burns and they started 5-6 freshman season.

Midway returns almost all production from last years east regional runner up. Tanner Williams pitcher and outfielder committed to NC state.
I have seen that midway team a lot the last two years idk how I forgot about them. Yes they gotta be the front runners!
Eastern Randolph returns most of the starters from a team that made it to Western Regional Final last season. Of course that was 1A…
The upside is you can pretty much say with 90% plus accuracy who will be 1-2 and the bottom 3-4 in 3a/4a conf's this year.

plus Carson Tew, SS/2nd base committed to Mt. Olive. Returns 8 of 9 starters, plus bullpen and DH.
I believe E. Rutherford returns a good portion of last years state championship team. They have a really good chance to repeat.
