3Rivers Week 4 Predictions

Whiteville (2-0) @ East Bladen (1-1)
East Bladen is very young but talented. Whiteville is the most talented team in the conference this year. Whiteville is the team to beat and will show it this season. Wolfpack by 14.

St. Pauls (2-0) @ East Columbus (1-1)
St. Pauls is the "surprise" team so far this year. They are talented and well coached. They will have no problem with the gators. Bulldogs by 28.

West Bladen (0-2) @ Fairmont (0-2)
Fairmont has been in both loses and lead during both games. Walters and company will have no problem getting their first win. Tornadoes by 28.

South Columbus (2-0) @ Red Springs (2-0)
The game of the week in the 3 Rivers conference. Both undefeated teams come in with hopes of challenging Whiteville for the conference title. Red Springs has a load of athletes at almost every position. South Columbus is always has size and are well coached with enough athletes to be at the top of the conference. I will go with the Stallions by 10.

West Columbus (1-1) @ South Robeson (0-2)
West Columbus will be flying high after their first win of the young season last week. The Mustangs are still searching for their first win. The Mustangs get the first win and keep playing for the automatic 1A playoff spot. South Rob by 14.

Watching Whiteville play West Brunswick,I thought Whiteville offense looked out of sink. No rythem but they won against a good WB defense. This past Friday SC looked really Sharpe and they are loaded at RB spots. West Columbus got a win against a team that lost 34 in a row but a wins a win.

St. Paul's by 20
South Columbus by 14
Fairmont BIG!
South Robeson by 18

Red Springs is much improved,so is St. Paul's. But I think this is a 2 horse race for 2A part of conf.

East Bladen has Whiteville, South Columbus and Red Springs in consecutive weeks. Would like to see us go 3-0 in that time span. I know we are an improving young team so let's see if we can do it. Defensively, I think we are fine but the offensive needs to make some huge strides. I know I'm probably being biased but we pull this one out at home. 24-22

South Columbus will have their hands full this week. Sometimes Red Springs puts out a very good product and this is the case this year. Another close game. I have the Devils in this one 27-24.

St Paul's will blowout East Columbus. 42-6

Fairmont will squeak by W Bladen 35-21

South Robeson will get their first win 42-28.

Some of u guys are really putting Red Springs in top level this year. They are improved this year but always tank when conf. time come around. But I saw them scrimmage and they run the ball alot,can't do that against SC. They will try throwing,and SC better be able to stop pass. SC comes out,no problem in second half,pull away. East Bladen won't beat Whiteville ,pack to strong. West Columbus riding a Pseudo High from last week's win. Fundamentally WC has been terrible with no spirit,this starts at practice each day. This program has been let go for years with no changes made at all by administration . They did get a win last week,hope they continue this week but I have no confidence at all they will. South Robeson is better than Creek Bridge.

Believe those two predictions on whiteville and south are more wishful thinking than anything..but that’s why they play the games.

Well you know I'm not picking Whiteville against us. LOL
I've been hearing good things out of Red Springs, other than NCPreps, and I've seen South play. I really believe it's a toss up. But if I'm wrong, I'll be the first to admit it. Good Luck to everyone this week.
