It sure does! But this was not the result of age, but of just being ignorant of Scott's time at ASU and not taking the time to look it up. I just kind of assumed that he was a bench warmer. Not.

S&C changes and a more compatible offensive scheme should help our tackles. Fingers crossed.
If our guys are trimmer, making them quicker, hopefully that helps. Not sure if it will, we’ll just have to wait and see.

The Oline will improve just on the basis of an O Coordinator that can call plays to the team's strengths.

For the love, just play football and get better. Being vanilla is the dumbest thing I think I’ve ever heard of. Practice how you’re going to play. And if you practice the rights things in the right ways, it doesn’t matter if the other team knows what’s coming, you’ll still beat them. I’m pretty sure Florida had plenty of film and practice going into the Fiesta Bowl those many years ago. They knew exactly what was coming and we still stomped them. Great teams don’t need to “hide” their plays. They run them so well and in such a disciplined manner that they will execute even when you know it’s coming right at you.
Duval weight lifted the athleticism out of them. They are now being trained differently and the nutritionist probably has them eating cleaner. Multiple coaches with experience coaching the OL. I think the Oline has a chance to be good.
They should run a triple reverse halfback option throw to an eligible offensive lineman who will hook and ladder to a blocking TE just to mess with Minny. It would never work in a million years, but it would be hilarious just to watch.
The reason it seems we always have RBs in spring is because everyone gets touches in spring. As the season comes on, you only have 2 or 3 guys in the mix because that’s all your going to play in a game. RB 1 needs touches.
One thing I know Rhule will bring back is passing to the RB. We saw him move the bell that way with CMC. Quicker outs will heavily help the O-Line too.

Fullback dump offs in the flat are tough to defend too. I liked Whips route trees but we had trouble protecting long enough because our run game was so predictable. Looking forward to a more compatible offense with GOOD play action fakes.
While I know how some are gonna take this, I don't care.....
Last season, under poor S&C, a toxic HC who brilliantly calls for an onside kick in the third quarter while up on NW, a "round peg, square hole" OC, with a defense that couldn't stop a bloody nose and ST that was short-bus special, NU STILL was in most games. Sweet Gawd Almighty, if the team just has mediocre coaching it should get to 8-9 wins against this year's schedule.
We’ll see. Hopefully this isn’t a situation like the year after we canned Riley. We didn’t think it could get any worse after Mike’s last year.
