4-4 Marian Central @ 4-4 Pats this week. Stakes could not be higher. One team will be playoff eligible. One team ends their season.

4-4 Wheaton North @ 4-4 Waubansee Valley. Same stakes as above...

4-4 Rita @ 6-2 Marmion. The pressure...

4-4 MC @ 3-5 Provi.

4-4 Bolingbrook @ 8-0 HF. Nighty night.

4-4 St. Eds @ 5-3 Wheaton Academy.
Must win for both. Wheaton only has 34 playoff points.

4-4 Naz will win easily at home vs. 1-7 Marian.

4-4 Main West to host 7-1 Glenbrook North

4-4 Deerfield should beat 1-7 Main East.

4-4 Jacobs @ 3-5 Hampshire.

4-4 Sycamore to host 5-3 Rochelle

4-4 Dunlap to host 7-1 Canton. Good luck...

4-4 Hononegah @ 1-7 Rockford Guilford

4-4 Belvidere North @ 7-1 Boylan. Good luck..

4-4 Belvidere HS hosting 3-5 Rockford East.

4-4 Plainfield South @ 3-5 Minooka. The pressure...

4-4 Addison Trail @ 6-2 Glenbard West. Good luck.

I think that Waubonsie / Wheaton North game is interesting. The team that gets in can do some damage in the playoffs.

Also, MC has a tough game against Provi. If MC gets in they can do some damage in the playoffs.

Thornridge (5 - 3) with only 31 playoff points vs. Thornwood (4 - 4) with 36 playoff points

1st playoff spot in along time for both teams riding on this one.

I don't think Pat's has the points with a win. Could be 2 seasons ending.

Is there is an estimated playoff point cut off number yet? I see Pats has 32 points. Is a team at 4 - 4 like Naz in danger as well with only 34 points even though they should easily win this week and go to 5 - 4?

Bad frog,

Naz minimum point total is 37 max 39. They are certainly on the edge but I suspect will be ok if it's an average year. I Think pats can only max out at 36 which would require an 0-8 Glenbrook South to win...seems pretty dicey at best.

Playoff points. MC has 43 SR 47 If they win they're in. MC will win easily this week SR game is a toss up.

Both should win. PC appears to have packed it in but perhaps they're playing for pride at home and as a way of stopping what might be the longest playoff streak ever with Frank? If MC loses you know Frank is gonna be on the recruiting warpath. Rita should win too. However if they lose to Marmion and miss playoffs again then they're gonna have some soul searching to do on whether a change at top is warranted.
