Pretty disappointing after all the pre-season hype. My thoughts:
Lose the high NIL QBs, WRs, and RB’s (There’s enough talented skill players out there, without breaking the bank on these positions). The return is not worth the expense imho.
Spread that money on the best OL and DL guys you can get. Spend more money (some of Coach Beamer’s overpaid salary) on a good/proven OC and OL coach.
Retain defensive coaching staff with raises.
Try to get bowl eligible before saying you’re going to be in the playoffs next year.

Heres a serious thought...Good up to the last sentence. Beamer, and many other coaches, are going to say what theyre going to say; If they sound stupid, whats it to you? If next year comes and goes and you viewed his statement as a gift you expected from Santa, shame on you. Time for everyone to grow up a bit; Beamer, Dinati, the players, and the fans.

This thought of redirecting NIL money away from the higher profile positions and more towards the trenches was acgually discussed a bit on the old board. Its something I could see being beneficial.

For some reason, as you see from your previous response, this really annoys the rah rah crowd though. I dont understand why, as its simply looking at spending money where you get the most benefit.

I would like to see that experiment done somewhere. Forego the 5 star qb's, and maybe run a 3 or 4 star qb behind a more expensive OL.

I know sellers wasn't a 5 star, but we were paying him like one.
