Rivals has added him to the team list but haven't updated our total points. It seems as though Nebraska moves up a few spots to #31 with Thomas' commitment. Star average is showing 3.31.
Kid looks like a really good athlete. Can't teach speed and he was running down RB's with no problem. Played his assignment and was able to control the LOS(at least in the Hi-Lit vid).

From Booker T Wahington in Miami, tons of offers. Ryan B from 247 Twitter is where I read it.

What a who's who list of offers! Nice highlights video. That music gets on your nerves after a minute of non-stop looping. Finally had to mute it. Maybe I should just expect it and actually put some good music on before cueing up the video.

HUGE GET!!!!! I could be wrong here but I do believe that his mother passed last fall leading to some pretty severe academic issues for Guy. Hopefully those get sorted out. At any rate beating Florida State and Michigan for a kid always feels good!

Welcome Guy! Signs in recruiting are really positive right now. Really happy to see some studs on the lines as well as all the skill position interest we've seen lately!

#18 on star ranking right now. Obviously, the team ranking is a bit flawed as programs with more commits by default will have more points. I don't anticipate that Iowa State will out recruit us this year.

Thanks. So we're #31 overall and #18 based on stars.

I was gonna say...damn 6'3 205?? CB-S Lamar Jackson is bigger. LOL...Definite redshirt. Hit the gym and training table but incredible offer list.
I can play wherever coach puts me at. I know that when I go to college they are going to probably have me as a hybrid at rush d-end and a drop back linebacker because I can move.

“I’m at 212 right now and I think I’m going to weigh at least 230 or 235-pounds of muscle when I go away to college. I know once I enter into their program and start eating right I should be able to be at least 270 and lean because I’m still growing.”

Based on offer list, as big a recruit as we've got. He still looks like a project in many ways. He's not close to the size of a classic defensive end, and is even small for an outside LB. And based on reading between the lines of some comments his coach made about how it's good he's leaving Florida, I have to think he's coming from a very tough background. Clearly the staff like his upside, and must think he projects into a really good player. Like they say, you can't coach speed. I hope Nebraska can help everything else come together for him.

He did a short interview and sounds like a tremendous young man with his wits about him. His Brother plays for FSU I believe. He has grown close to his new position coach since we brought him on board; as a player he has nothing but choices. Someone said he had a deep personal loss in his family..... that could be your tough background. He has moved to a larger HS, his previous coach had nothing but praise for him.
He listed out a time table of where he should grow too; and retain his outstanding speed and sacking ability. He seems to know how N may use him. He thinks he will be about 235 of muscle when he gets too N, and is projected to grow taller - and he sees 270 and speed in his future. As I recall it.
GBR = a great commit, from a man who has determined his academic path at N, also offers him a great future.
