I've got the same problem.

If I'd known selfie sticks were going to come along, I'd have never got bifocals. Those sticks would make dandy arm extenders to get reading material out to where I can see it clearly.

you have no choice.

I just updated my readers to 1.5 and fortunately I am knocking on 60. I'd take it.
What confuses me is my vision actually seems a little better. The only thing I've changed is my diet. I was flirting with high blood sugar. Diabetes runs in my family. I went low carb. My blood sugar came down.

Do you drink a lot of regular soda, Cajun? Cutting that stuff out and replacing it with the diet stuff took me from a pre-diabetic 260 lbs. to the svelte 210 I am now over a couple of years. Plus, it tastes so bad I'm not jacking my blood pressure up by consuming so much caffeine. Cut's out on the multiple piss stops on car drives, too. I haven't had to pull over and sprint for the bushes since I quit guzzling the sugary stuff.

No, I rarely drink a sugary drink, and that would be juice once or twice a year. I drink a lot of water.
