Might have helped Mirko ... but Rowley was a lost cause ... great body ... plenty athletic enough for his size ... but zero understanding of or feel for the game.

I think even Rowley would have been helped by someone who knew how to coach Bigs. BC and company did not.

Doubtful.

Rowley spent 3 years at Saint Mary's which has a pretty good coaching staff and never really improved.

Who knows if Donlon's move to NU and UM picking up a Top 50 PF from under its in-state rival's noses (player grew up in East Lansing, but parents are UM fans) had a play in Nance picking the 'Cats, but doesn't matter - it's been a great week for hoops recruiting.
