Murphy opens up with a depleted Andrews team (homecoming). Has anyone heard that the Martin kid is injured and may not play this season? Not sure that's accurate, but if true it would be a terrible loss if a great young athlete
I think Murphy could surprise some people at the skill positions if QB play is up to snuff, more speed and athleticism than last year as a group. Just a shame the line took the hit it did, would've loved to see a full strength Murphy vs Robbinsville matchup this season.
I have to admit, that game is gonna suck for Murphy fans and players..maybe Robbinsville will make an exception and allow radio and video to have access for that game..without fans, that game will lose alot of its luster

Only having 100 fans is crazy. Atleast should have 600 at big oaks.
I do think that this is crazy, especially since you could separate visitors from home fans on opposite sides. Do not allow any going back and forward, which is in place at most stadiums anyway. I am sure there are other stadiums somewhere in the state that on has sitting on side, but I know for sure Bishop McGuiness is. But they have a break between the sections to separate home and visitors.
On another note, I got my first assignment for football last night. So there is a movement toward starting season.
At this point I see nothing stopping football. What are your thoughts on wrestling Sportsnut?
I honestly feel no total sport will be canceled at this point. Will there be individual teams that may not be able to participate, yes.
They are broadcasting Varsity Girls & Boys basketball so in my opinion, they will do football too. I could be wrong and someone that announces the game can verify this if it is correct.

Needs to be an adjustment. One cannot justify not allowing all parents into an outside setting at the very least. Its funny to me that we are now being asked to go back to in person learning during the worst of the pandemic. If thats the case we shouldve been going since August and had almost 2 full sports seasons in the books.

How can you not let 2 parents per kid into home varsity basketball games.
I've said this before but every gym in the conference has enough room to accommodate 2 parents for both home and away games . I feel for the parents of seniors .
Which schools aren’t? We give each kid two tickets and they tell who they chose to come and pay for them.
Gentle Knight is spot on with the statement that an adjustment is needed for outside sporting events. For myself, I am having a hard time wrapping my head around my son playing football and me being 30 minutes to an hour away on away games. More for a peace of mind knowing the increased possibility of the types of injuries that can occur during a football game. I hope the "insiders" are right when they are saying an adjustment is coming this Friday.

What??? Go stand by the fence and watch. You dont have to not go to the game. Stop letting people change your life at a crazy rate. The election is over of course they make a adjustment.
To stand by alot of fences you have to first get in the gate..works some places,not so well at others
at Mitchell if your kids a sophomore on varsity they get 1 ticket for some games. Two for others
