Re: Coach seems to handling this performance well

Coach Cal welcomes challenges. It helps form stronger teams. Remember what the IU and Vanderbilt losses did for the 2012 team? You're worried about first place votes?

Because he had a bad game as well. I was scratching my head at a lot of his decisions today.

- He subbed Towns for Lyles & Dakari for defense late in the late 2nd + OT.

- He almost forgot about Booker in the 2nd. He was on the bench for too long.

- Lee played one minute. Atleast give him a chance to show us if he has the energy on D, because other than WCS, the other bigs didn't.

This game was more about the arrogance we displayed in the first half by not feeling the need to play with defensive intensity which gave a below average team the belief they could win. Wouldn't be surprised if we no longer receive all first place votes.

I wouldn't be surprised if they dropped UK to #2, especially if Duke blows out their next two, and Kentucky struggles with A&M. Duke gets Louisville next weekend.....

Why would he be embarrassed? We won a game where we didn't play well and the other team could do nothing wrong. I'm sure the players will be feeling rough for the next couple of days after practice. Do you want him cursing on tv after a game we won?

Yeah relax man. It's very hard to go undefeated and you seem bothered by a close game. You need to win close games and that we did. Aread you really worried about votes in early January? Wow. I only care about #9. Undefeated or not.

Re: Coach seems to be handling this performance well

Because losing at home.. Taking the lead... Losing again.. And then winning the game.. Is EXACTLY what Calipari would want. A 34 point blowout, while fun and less stress inducing, teaches nothing.

As a coach with freshman.. You couldn't ask for a better outcome.
