Football 4A 2 weeks in

What's your thoughts 2 weeks into season in 4A.
Mine are Pisgah or Tuscola we'll be a high seed out of the mtns.
Cramer, or RS could be a high seed out of 704.
Hibriten, Wilkes Central, and West Iredell could be a high seed in 828.
Burns and Maiden gonna have some losses but probably ruin a higher seeds playoffs.
Reidsville has injury issues but still will be a problem.
Out East dont have a clue.

Pretty spot on Beamer. I would add Mount Pleasant as a team that could have a top seed in the West.

No clue about the East other than the rankings that are out.

East top teams look to be Reidsville, Eastern Wayne. West Craven. SW Edgecombe, and East Duplin. May have miss someone but think the east will come out of those.

West Craven will be there over in the East…they’re pretty dang good.

Surprised that Randleman is 0-2. They lost their opener to Providence Grove which surprised me. Randleman plays Asheboro next…that ain’t good eiother!

Newtons loss to Alexander was a little surprising to me. But they thumped Polk so they might still be ok.

There is just not enough 4A teams east of Reidsville for them to ever be in the West in the current alignment. Reidsville will be East at least for the next several years.

Actually, yes, it's impossible. Now that I've looked...

If the 24 furthest east teams make it in (1 being the furthest east (First Flight)) then Reidsville would be number 21.

As far as the Mountain teams go, you're probably spot on! Given anything can happen, Pisgah's only loss will possibly be to Franklin (5A) and Tuscolas only losses will be Franklin (5A) and Pisgah, in my opinion.

Here is the link to longitudes for all classifications. Some may find it interesting and definitely makes speculation fun in those final projections days. I know First Flight (furthest East 4A) temporarily got tossed into the playoffs as the last Eastern team last year and sent Central Davidson West as a 2 seed, I believe and made a nice jumble of a conversation before it got corrected. Bubble teams furthest West and East make things “fun” for those coaches in the middle trying to figure out their landing spots.

When Burns went up there a few years ago, our side was PACKED out. Like it was hard to move. It was something like a 3 hour drive
