My only projections are these. You are going to play who you have to play and the first one to 5 wins it all!
I will say the team that gets South Caldwell in the second round is lucky. You basically have a gimmie game to get you to Thanksgiving football.
The fact that a possibly 1 win team hosts a playoff game and gets a BYE is a joke. I know they might "win" the 4A portion of their conference, but there should be a rule that if you don't have a winning record you cannot be seeded as a 2, you must be seeded as the lowest possible one seed so a 4 I guess.

I think they are the only 4A team in that conference. There are more deserving teams that should get in.
100% agree portcity. They do not deserve to be in the playoffs. Period. I'd love for someone to try and come up with rationale of them getting in at all, much less as a 1 seed.
McDowell is the other 4A school in that conference and South Caldwell beat them for their only win. Now if South Caldwell loses and McDowell wins Friday then McDowell will get in over South Caldwell on their conference record. McDowell is currently 2-8 so not like it'd be an upgrade. Still a joke.

With those rankings there is a chance that Scotland even with a win against Richmond will drop in the rankings if Glenn or Heritage win Friday night. The difference between a 1 seed and 2 or 3 is huge if that bracket holds true
Don't be surprised if Page is small A. It was reported in the GSO paper that they are at 1930. Not saying that is official but if so that would be interesting.
Some rule need to be made to keep a team like S Caldwell from getting in the playoffs much less a 2 seed.
I'm thinking that overall Reagan and NW Guilford will be out of the playoffs after Friday's games. I think their maxpreps rankings will drop and you could see maybe Purnell Swett and Pine Forest get in. That would shift East Meck to AA and also shift Glenn and Ragsdale to the West...a lot can happen this week!!!
I read that on the other board jmac, hard to believe a drop like that is accuarate, maybe that is
"how many is in the building" or just plain wrong,,

Page will have 2000-2100 kids...don't think they will be in small. They had 2128 last year and a drop to 1930 is crazy.
