Here's what 4A would look like without being divided north/south.

Seeding process wasn't changed, just eliminated north/south and seeded 1-48 like 7A and 8A.
I wish all the other classes were seeded like this.
Being that Morris/Montini will be 2nd round and in this mock they're on opposite sides of the bracket and SHG and Rochester on opposite sides of the bracket the semi's wouldn't be the same at all.
Joliet to Ofallon
Ofallon to Maine south
Edwardsville to Lincoln park
St pat’s to collinsville
That’s just 4 right off the bat that I see in 7-8A that are 4ish plus hr bus trips.
and then there another handful of 1.5-2 hr plus
I wish the state would seed all classes 1-32
It’s the playoffs IMO it’s suppose to get you out of your area and play the rest of the state not your area
A handful but not nearly as many as there would be in the other classes. The vast majority of the teams in 7A/8A are located in the Chicagoland area. The other classes are spread out all over the state.
