4A Semi-Finals

Close games for both sides but DePaul Prep and Mt Zion pull it out. DePaul Prep wins it all
I have U-High over Mt. Zion, to host the state total on their home field. In the North, I think DePaul gets it done, but deep down I want a Coal City/U-High rematch to avenge the loss last year. Regardless of who wins the North, if U-High wins the South, I like their chances to bring it all home with their near-unstoppable offense on their home field.
I wish Montini/Wilmo wasn’t at the same time as Coalers/DePaul.
Both 4A semifinal games look like they have the potential to go down to the wire, but I think DePaul is now the favorite to win the title.

It would be awesome for a team to get a chance win it all on their home field. Couldn't imagine what that would feel like. That game last year was a complete mudfest with Coal City being the only team to seem to adapt to the elements. I don't think they run any of that under center stuff this year. Won't be an issue either way if there happens to be a rematch.

Also, you said last week you had your own game to play in... who you play for? Assuming collegiate? If not, what semi-pro league you in? I didn't realize there were still any around this area.
I'm making the drive up for this one. I was originally going to drive down to Belleville and see Althoff spank Camp Point (the last remaining Adams County team, go figure), but I'm not really in the mood for that long of a drive for a potential beatdown... A trip to Hancock to see the last CS8 program alive sounds better, a shorter drive for sure, and I already know some good food options in BloNo.
Also never actually attended a game at Hancock. Only ever been to basketball at State and football and basketball at Wesleyan.
Anywho... good luck to the Pioneers! Very excited to see this offense again in person. Always a treat.
P.s. I need someone who's got connections with t-shirt printing to make me a "Hi, I'm Roamin' Catholic" t-shirt to wear to these games. I'll leave the back graphic/verbage/working to whomever designs it. Just make sure it's appropriate (enough) to wear at a high school event. And, this time of year I'd need a hoodie also, gotta stay warm in the stands.
I can pay for it + plus shipping + plus tip.
