I also learned this week we were 4th in the nation on off the field issues. We as UK fans have no problem ripping Pitino and UL but have turned a blind eye to this issue. Not only can stoops and company except Eddie Gran and Hinshaw not coach on the field but they have lost institutional control of the Program. To me that has to be reason enough to part ways. We talk about coming up with 12 million for a buyout likes it's impossible but don't kid yourself that money can be easily gotten if we truly wanted it. Stoops has lost control and should be fired for lack of control and not holding UK standards not just on but off the field as well.

First off, I want Stoops gone too and honestly was never a fan of the hire. Second, We have had some off the field problems but he has dealt with them by handing out appropriate punishment. Lastly, 12 million is hard to come up with under any circumstance.

Causing a lockdown of a university by displaying a toy gun at dusk. Ripping a parking meter out of the ground and trying to evade policy while running with that parking meter, Jason Hatcher, and others

Studies like that are a waste of time. UK has not had major off the field issues. The closest was Tubman who was never indicted. So what if we've had an increase in the number of players arrested for playing with pellet guns. There has been nothing of any sort of scale that anyone should care about.

The price you pay for the most "talented" roster the program has seen.

We've been hollering about getting the talent for ever...well it's here.

Now we want a coach who can win, and an Athletic Director who cares about building a competitive football program...there's moral a price for that as well.

There are a lot of winning programs with top coaches/staffs and rosters full of elite talent on the list of top offenders.

That's sort of sad. We should be better if we have that many arrest. Looks like Stoops dropped the ball with this stat

What makes you so sure Gran and Hinshaw can coach?

I did read something about UK being fourth in the 2016 "Fulmer Cup". Colorado was first, and Alabama second. That's all I remember about it. Some sort of attempt to rank teams by off field issues I guess, named in honor of Fat Phil. Funny.

I'd love this argument had we not gotten worse on the field. Just more salt in the wounds.

Well in St. Mitch's ministry or Holy Pope Stoops program, if you light a cigarette in a manner other than directed you will be disciplined. On the other hand at places like UL, UT and Auburn bad behavior is not only expected but covered up. Heck, Hatcher would've been a team captain for UL this year. You really think they would've kicked him off the team?? [laughing]

This team hasn't been the same since St. Stoops started disciplining his players and throwing them under the bus for hitting the other team too hard a couple years ago. He started getting a little too big for his britches and his players haven't been the same since. In year two players like Baker, McClain, & Stamps were laying the wood on a weekly basis. Now they're looking over their shoulder to make sure St. Stoops isn't yanking them out of the game.
