I'm a realist. We will continue to be a middle of the pack team, at best. Our coach should be fined every time he says "we're here to win championships." NU doesn't have the stomach, will, or desire to do the things that it takes to win at championship level. I accept this and, in many ways, respect it. A $75 million NIL war chest is not congruent with the tenets of NU. If we can average 7 wins, we are bumping our ceiling.
A massive war chest of cash is EXACTLT congruent with NU. The school’s most significant feature, where it owes its national ranking, and the primary job of the President is its $16 Billion endowment. Being incredibly rich is the whole thing with schools like NU.

No one with any credibility would ever advocate using the endowment to fund NU's football operations.

That’s not the point or what I’m saying. The point is having a huge war chest is EXACTLY congruent with NU’s values
