Once again why does 1000 fans matter if it can be done with families sitting together, mask worn and people sitting 6 feet apart. Not saying Lowes hasn't been packed. Just saying there isn't a 1000 people in a Lowes at a given time.

I think you are going to see earlier start times, especially with Governor curfew. With all the spread offenses 7:30 start makes finishing by 10 difficult. Are schools staying with 7:30 kickoffs for varsity games on Friday and 7:00 on Thursdays for JV?

I have always felt JV should start earlier anyway and a lot of conferences has already adopted that Several years ago.
Well guess what smaller schools with smaller stadiums want let as many people in. Do you know what the guidelines are going to be for NCHSAA. If not what you are complaining about is dumb as heck. I got my temp checked before I went into games and had to have my mask on in TN. They didn’t sell tickets at the gate unless they knew a team wouldn’t bring a lot fans and then only sold so many. Away games you only got so many tickets.Who makes sure everyone is following protocols? 1000 people is alot for a handful of admins. To be honest many schoos couldn't get 1000 people socially distanced. Especially 1A schools.

Sevierville TN and Myrtle Beach SC.Can you point me to a Walmart and Lowes that have 1000 people in them at a time?
As people leave, others are coming in. The cycle is continuous, which in one day it comes out to more than 1,000Can you point me to a Walmart and Lowes that have 1000 people in them at a time?
It’s certainly possible. So is 100% of the public wearing a mask. But think of how many people say they’ll never wear one. Or how many law enforcement officers have said they won’t enforce the Governor’s executive order. Are we to think that all administrators will enforce social distancing? What about student sections? Will they break those up? Keep in mind that many systems are still remote. So you are saying it is impossible to go to a game and social distance. Do any of you know what the guidelines are going to be. Has the NCHSAA released the guidelines for the spring season for Football. I haven’t seen them.

I personally think there’s a better way. The Governor allowed seven percent capacity for college stadiums. So, I’d propose this.
Calculate seven percent of the home side and visitors side separately. All ticket sales online only for a specific side of the field. Give immediate family members a few days to purchase prior to opening sales to the general public, with a predetermined limit for family purchase for both teams, based on that side’s capacity. Same limit for every family on their respective sides. When seven percent is reached, stop selling. Have admin staff there to ensure that fans sit on the side for which they have purchased tickets.
Then, take the time to block off portions of the stands that would ensure social distancing. Enforce that and masks without exception. No fake doctor’s notes.
Those steps would allow almost all stadiums more than 100 fans. It would be reasonable steps to avoid the clusters we normally see at games. With the added method of viewing on Youtube, it should accommodate most fans.
Perhaps the NCHSAA should float that plan to the state health department. We might be surprised at the result.

EVERY Day ALL DAY
People are continuously crossing one another all day longBut not at 1 time like at a football game.

pretty sure the nazis will make sure
You're still exposedYou do realize the longer you are exposed to someone the more at risk you are? So passing someone in a store is little to no risk while being near someone for 3 hours puts you at more risk.
You're still exposed
If it's "little to no risk" then why are mask required?Once again you're comparing 2 totally different situations and last I checked ya gotta have groceries and sometimes some drywall for a repair. Food is essential as is shelter. Unfortunately sitting in the stands at a game for 3 hours isnt

A scientific study done by the website wallethub.com? According to the study, SC has a lower transmission rate, hospitalization rate, and death rate than many of the states that rate as “safer”, but vaccination rate is counted as double those others to make SC less safe? . Not saying that SC doesn’t have a pretty high rate but the methodology is curious as is the scientific status of a website devoted to blogging about saving money. This is what happens when your government doesn't take things serious. Georgia and SC at the bottom with Alabama, Mississippi, Arizona, and Nevada.
I really dont know why everybody in GA isn't dead already after playing HS football with full capacity.
Thank goodness for copper.

I’m terribly upset we had season. Son made the East West all star game. Got voted All State in by the Coaches. Got 4 D3 offers. It’s just sad we had a full 10 game season with playoffs.I’m sure everyone in tn, ga, and sc are so sad because their governors didn’t save their kids lives by playing football in February
What part of the lecture do I further need to be educated on?I'm just going to let you educate yourself since you seem to not be up to speed on things.

if you had a smart governor like ours you could’ve play 10 basketball games then started football in February. Well have more kids fall victim to frost bite than covid.
IDIOT, MORON, COMMUNIST AND MISINFORMED I feel better now!!! PLAY BALL AND GO TO SCHOOL!!!TSSAAodd you didn’t mention the coaches who passed away from Covid during the season. Tennessee is one of the worst states to live in with Covid...but science, am I right? SMH,
