I remember about 40 years or so ago when Farmville played deep into the 3A playoffs losing a close 3rd round game to eventual state champion Burlington Williams 15-14..........played at Burlington, myself and my brother went.....a great ball game...........................shame to see former great programs decline....Reidsville beat Graham tonite 75-0...there was a time years when Graham was a very strong program.....................
It wasn't that long ago that FC was pretty good. Even made it to the ship in the 2000s. I guess it's true that most teams just have cycles. We were pretty ok at times during the 80s but were God awful most of the 90s and early 2000s. Had a couple of 0-11 sprinkled in there. And I cheered as hard as I could for each one of those games, sometimes being the only one there at away games. Hard times, man. Hard times.

Projected that all 3 Edgecombe county schools will get a 1. Tarboro in 1AA, N. Edgecombe in 1A, and us in 2A. But after what Clinton just did, they might get that 2A 1 seed. They defeated a championship team tonight. We had practice tonight.

??? It's almost 2hr drive. And honestly, if we do go 2A, I'm not making any plans to meet anybody looking ahead. LOL. Northeastern, Wallace, Clinton, SWO, and SWE... good grief! With only 4 spots in the 3rd round, that means that two of these teams will be a second round matchup. If the 3rd round slots are filled with these teams, who do you think has the least chance of being one of them?

The Broke Back Ole Nags from Onslow County got nothing outside of our conference. We've scored too many and allowed far to less to be of any concern. If we get to the 3rd round it will be as spectators. I'm lookin for Clinton, WRH, NE, or SWE shirts to wear in late Nov, early Dec. any suggestions ??
