Besides the typical special teams mistakes, the thing that stood out to me is that Martinez will not throw the ball vs. man to man unless a receiver is WIDE open. He holds onto the ball way too long. The last play of the half and taking that sack was laughable.

I haven’t always agreed with you in the past but have to agree now. In years 1 and 2, I had to give SF the benefit of the doubt. My frustration is AM2 is terrible at protecting the football (even in year 4). That SF refuses to pull him for whatever reason because of these mistakes definitely makes SF a putz!

I am the guy on YouTube (bmboldt) who recorded and uploaded about 200 Husker games. I loved watching the Huskers. I somewhat accepted the Solich, Callahan, Pelini and some of the Riley years. I turned off the TV at half. Until something changes for the better I am out. Frost is failing worse than Riley.

You nailed it. It’s unreal how NU consistently beats itself against inferior or equal teams. It’s crazy. Fundamental stuff that junior high teams can get better at. Mind numbing.

CTB’s play was really the only thing that would fall under the category of undisciplined to me. I don’t think AM’s overthrows, etc are about a lack of discipline, he’s just bad.
