We know how mighty the Phoebus teams were but that 1996 Crabbers team was one of the best... Two state champions, only one can make the final... Who will it be? Another classic Peninsula battle.

2008 Phoebus would've been a better comparison. That was by Phoebus' most dominant team led by senior QB Tajh Boyd, RB Shawne Alston, DL/LB Dominik Davenport and many other great D1 recruits. I still give that 96 Crabber team the edge because they were just too explosive and Ronald Curry would be too much for anyone to handle that year.
