5A West Bracket

Don’t know much about the East bracket but the West is filthy!!!
I’m as a die hard Franklin fan as they come, but as the 2 seed, I look at the other top 7 seeds and wonder who we could beat on the field.

That would be a brutal ride west to Franklin for some teams. That’s a pretty good advantage!
Season probably ends against Hickory
They will put up a fight and if they can get through Hickory don’t think they have the talent to get through Crest.
How good is Robinson? They look good on paper but played nobody with a pulse. They definitely got the easier side of the bracket.

No offense, but that's all we heard 2 years ago. We traveled all the way to Winston and it was 28-0 at half.

Yep, and Tuscola got the #2 Seed in 4A out of that conference with a 9-1 record (only loss to Franklin). Sounds like RPI likes that conference.
Yep. Rpi likes the mtn schools. Asheville and TC got top seeds in 6a.
I was thinking EL will be a battle for them.
I thought this was the first year for strictly RPI seeding...maybe we should say Math likes the mtn schools.
RPI can't differentiate classifications. WNC has a lot of good 1A-3A schools that help boost RPI for some of the bigger schools. Murphy, Robbinsville, Hendersonville, Mitchell, Mountain Heritage, etc.
Oak Grove has been stomped by Crest on more than one occasion but playing Reagan that close has my attention. Hickory lost to West Iredell so OG will not be an easy task. Go watch their prior games.

But yall ain't our state's best and brightest examples for top flight football play most every year.
The only math the mtn teams need to worry about is that which is put on the scoreboard when you play non-mountain teams.
