Lol , they don’t seed based on injuries back in November . It’s current injuries
"Though the brackets only feature the seed numbers 1-16 in each region, the committee first assembles an S-curve of selected teams seeded from 1 through 68. In theory, the teams 1-4 on the seed list will all be #1 seeds (the #1 "seed line"), 5-8 will be #2 seeds (the #2 seed line), and so on; however, bracketing rules may lead to minor deviation from this. The selection committee uses a number of factors to place teams on the S-curve, including record, strength of schedule, and the NET in the Division I men's tournament and the RPI in all other championship tournaments. Relative subjective comparison of individual teams close on the S-Curve are also considered."

Didn't see that exclusion/timing clause in the process..

So far we are scoring less than 65 and allowing more than 65. It's clearly impacting us on both ends
Spot on comment.Rutgers in last three games is struggling to score 60 points. The loss of seven points from Mag has impacted team scoring .Added pressure is now put on the defense to hold opponents under 60 points to have a realistic chance of winning.

Cam was 5-11 2-5 against Indiana and 5-6 3-3 against Minnesota

A 6 or 7 without mag? Remember the committee seeds taking injuries into the equation. If you’re saying we are a 6 or 7 seed based on our body of work? Is that what you’re saying? Because if it is we are 0-2 without mag and probably on the 10 line
You do know that of our six remaining games four are against four of the five bottom teams in the conference.
And we do have wins against all three of the top teams in the conference standings. ( as of Sunday 2/12 4:30 pm)

Any chance it was the better teams we were playing on the road???
I've been told MSG is a home game.
That is a bit of it (MO) but our shot selection and execution and decisions of who to shoot ..and yes Mag missing factor in.
Whatever the reasons..it will be tough to win with those numbers cept. the teams left aren't offensive killers either..

Defense does the trick fine when you can play it well for 40 minutes. The problem is that the loss of Mag makes it so that we can’t. We can play great defense for most of a game, but at some point Cliff and Caleb have to sit. Pike wants to get the stretches with these guys out overwith rather than sit each of them individually and be without one or the other for a longer stretch of time. I get that. But it just hasn’t worked. The defense has been dreadful with 2 of 3 Wolf/Oskar/Reiber
Can’t believe some posters still not thinking the loss of Mag is impacting our performance . Head scratcher , it’s impacting everything.

The point you are missing is that we are now are weaker team . Can we win against the bottom of the big teams ? Yes we can but we were looking at going deep in the tourney. That is now in jeopardy .

Nobody thinks this. You have people arguing that Mag is worth like 10ppg which is obviously ridiculous. That doesn’t mean we aren’t better with Mag.

Overall a large sample probably not. Hopefully not.
