I saw them today tossing the ball around and they have two 6ft 3 wideouts that are going to be a problem for the SAC. I know everyone thinks its SC/RC and everyone else but after seeing them in a 7 on 7 and having 27 seniors and a 4 year starter at QB it would not surprise me if they won the conference. They have SC and RC at home. Business is about to pick-up in the next few months. Their O-line will be strong. If the DL improves they are going to be a very interesting team.

The kid taking Kaba's spot is just as talented he has multiple D1 offers already. Kaba will be missed but the Romero Kid is no slouch. I think he has more offers than Kaba. Duke, NC state and ECU have offered and from what I hear many more are on the way. SC proved they can play without 34 last year. He will never be replaced greatest HS back I have ever seen and I have seen and played against a lot. SC is more of an unknown this year but there is a kid named Pappa McKoy that is going shake up the SAC. Playing both ways is not an issue if you can manage it like Harding you actually are playing your best players you just have to used them situationally. But 71st will be right in the mix and i think it is a pick-em this year between the 3 but gotta ride with the scots do or die!

that is factually correct even though 71 folks think that raider magic was assisted by refs lol!

I get that Zamir is gone but everyone was running wild on 71st last year. HArd to beat anyone if you gotta score 55 a game. I dont care if Cam Newton is at QB.

I don't know if "everyone" was running wild on them. They played 12 teams last year and held 9 of them to 15 or less points. Jack Britt scored 20 and Richmond scored 25, which isn't exactly lighting it up.

No disrespect to 71st, but until you are able to knock of the "Top Dog's of the conference(Scotland - Richmond). That's where the conversation begins. If 71st would so happen win the conference, I would not be suprised.

Refs had very little to do with that win for us. The fact 71st couldn't make a FG or extra point and got shut out the end zone multiple times from inside the 5 is why they lost that game.

As for the 71st defense the only team that put points up was sc. You mentioned white and bell which is true but they are both gone. I still say 71st, Richmond , Scotland. Time will tell.

papa mckoy ran all over 71st last year if I'm not mistaken and Smiley will be a handful. but as you say time will tell.

Yeah they picked us apart and still "LOST". I respect the Dirty Birds and the Raiders, but don't be coming on here acting like the Scots are a bunch of Scrubs!!! As Bart Scott once said "CAN'T WAIT"

Yeah you're right. All runs don't last forever. so I guess the Dirty Birds better get it done this year with all those seniors, including the QB. Good luck to the Dirty Birds this year, except when you play the Scots.

i saw Richmond QB in the playoff game couldn't throw it within 5 yards of a receiver and we put well over a 100 points on 71 st so ya'll had holes on ya team last year only claim the top spot when you have earned it. Both reams were soft on defense against what Scots do well.
