Impact Player for Notre Dame:
Senior QB Anthony Sayles has been a varsity mainstay for the Dons over the last two seasons. Sayles, who is also a standout basketball player is drawing recruiting interest and offers in both football and basketball.

EDGY's Quick Take on the Notre Dame Dons: The Dons finished the 2019 with an 8-3 record and lost to eventual 8A state champion Lincoln Way East in the 8A second round. The Dons and Hall of Fame head coach Mike Hennessey welcomes back a nice core of returning skills for 2020 led by QB Anthony Sayles. The biggest off-season question for the Dons? Can Notre Dame reload on the offensive and defensive line in 2020? If Notre Dame can get it's inexperienced line play going they will again be a state playoff caliber team this fall.
