Horrible sportsmanship the whole night by Maine south. 4 or 5 unsportsmanlike penalties or late hits. Took a cheap shot on QB late in game, which left him out on sideline for close to 10 minutes. But then again nothing new from Maine South. New Trier had chance to win on last drive. Would like to see the rematch on this one. Sorry ms4ever thought your team acted with no class

At times the boys did make dumb decisions. Way to many flags all night. I can tell you that we have not been flagged that much all season. NT is getting better and kudos to Coach Doll and his staff. As far as the cheap shot I could not see it there or on film. The refs apparently missed it too as no penalty was called.
Not sure what you mean by "But then again nothing new from MS"?

Speaking of class by an organization... Yesterday the freshman b team from New Trier felt compelled following a sad performance by their A team, to have 3 of their A team players play on the B team. One of which was responsible for 9 of their points.

When confronted, the coach suggested it was because of injuries. Not only did they not say anything before the game, but they also had 15 kids on the sidelines..

Nice going NT...

Don't EVER say anything to us about CLASS!

Oh hey JC... I keep an eye from a distance!

I too have been critical over the years of some of the things that MS has done. Frankly I'm embarrassed by the term "Maine Southed" because there is nothing positive that comes from it. Having neighbors kids that played during the '08-'10 run that didn't get to play much and others whose names were mentioned here daily, I always felt like the program wasn't as much about the kids as I had hoped....my boys are at MS now and much of those things are different.

However, that being said, I have seen threads about those same kids here saying all sorts of horrible things that were not only untrue, but quite simply STUPID. There have been all sorts of allegations started here over the years, many of which were originated by people who shouldn't throw stones in glass houses. I almost got permanently banned here for making an analogy about some of those people in glass houses!

JC fortunately you have always been true to fact and well written for sure! Thanks for the hello!

Ah!!

I told you I was simple..

Oddly back home in 1982 I played Monster back..I was 160 soaking wet and pockets full of change! 225 was the cutoff for our lineman back then. My sophomore is 5-10,200, and a true fireplug in every sense..my freshman is 6-1,150 and a string! My freshman is actually bigger into fencing...
