If Rita had her 2020 (Covid), '21 and '22 teams out there, I'd say "powerhouse" would apply to the Mustangs.Do you think LWC can hang with CCL perennial powerhouse, if matchup happens. I don’t know much about LWC though.
Gotcha. So it sounds like just a tough group. It will be interesting to see that matchup in round 2, if it occursLWC lost their best player earlier this season to injury
they have surprised many as to how they have performed without him
Again clown. Semi 2 of last 3 years. State championship game 4 seasons ago. Toughest schedule in the state , maybe exception of Carmel. Play half the CCL blue every year not even being in that conference. To say not a powerhouse or relevant like you are now and have been saying is a joke. I bet Guilford, LWC and Richard’s coaches are super happy with the draw and think the same as you… NOT. Find a new team, talking about relevancy , you my friend are not. With the struggles this year, I don't think Rita as a "powerhouse." Like you, I have no idea how good LWC is. They did beat a very good PC team earlier in the year. Assuming both teams win, the game will be in Chicago. Pound Guilford on the road first.
Who was their best player? Did he play RB?LWC lost their best player earlier this season to injury

LWC is very good this and last year, and has gotten good draws both yearsHealthy LWC is in the conversation
I think Hersey can benefit from seeding the opposite can be said for LWW
Carmel will make the quarters against Bear
Don't forget about DGNI like LWW chances to make it to the semi's. They will coast through their first two games and then have GBW, who I think they have a very real chance of beating.
Hopefully they can also beat DGN because they are going to be in that quarterfinal matchup now that the QB is back.I like LWW chances to make it to the semi's. They will coast through their first two games and then have GBW, who I think they have a very real chance of beating.
A challenge St. Rita has avoided since discontinuing scheduling LW Dist. 210 schools 20 years ago. Would like to see it!Do you think LWC can hang with CCL perennial powerhouse, if matchup happens. I don’t know much about LWC though.
I don’t know about “best” but top 3 or 4. He may be back for the run of playoffs?LWC lost their best player earlier this season to injury

He knows. You do know Witty is a SR fan?
I hope you're wrong!LWC is tough! Saw them handle Provy week 2. They will beat Rita in week 2. Future odds would have them -7.5 vs Rita in a week 2 match-up.
There are many good teams in 7A that are only one upset away from making the semifinals. The following teams may not be true title contenders, but conceivably could make it to the semifinals:Who in 7a can make a run to semis besides:

Interesting list and I agree with a lot of those. There are many good teams in 7A that are only one upset away from making the semifinals. The following teams may not be true title contenders, but conceivably could make it to the semifinals:
Carmel (Closed out the regular season with victories over Loyola and Fenwick, not to mention a one-point loss to unbeaten Montini.)
Lincoln-Way Central (They were a 7A semifinalist just last year.)
St. Charles North (DuKane Conference co-champion with Batavia this year; and did defeat Batavia.)
Hersey (Mid-Suburban East Conference champion this year.)
Prospect (Made it to the 7A semifinals four years ago.)
Lincoln-Way West (Shared the conference championship with Lincoln-Way Central and Bradley-Bourbonnais this year.)
Richards (They were a 6A semifinalist last year.)
Kenwood (Perhaps a long-shot, but they are the best of the CPL and played St. Francis tough in the season opener.)
Hersey has burned me too many times. It's like picking Georgetown to do anything in the NCAA tournyThere are many good teams in 7A that are only one upset away from making the semifinals. The following teams may not be true title contenders, but conceivably could make it to the semifinals:

I would say Prospect making semi 4 years ago doesn't matter to me. Teams that made it last year, sure, I can get why that could matter.
