I really think everyone should visit the 9/11 memorial and museum in NYC.

Wife and I went there in Dec 2017. Spent 4.5hrs and could have stayed longer, but we sped up the last bit because we were in NYC with another couple. It's one of those things you have to see to appreciate it. The size of the pools where the towers were can't be done justice from pics alone (along with many of the exhibits on the inside).

I had never been to NYC until 2014. So what was shocking to me was how small the area was. Don't get me wrong the WTC was gigantic. But when you stand there and see how close all those other buildings were. My first thought when i walked up to the memorial is that it was a MIRACLE that only 3000 people lost their lives.

I probably won’t be convinced that hitting the top of the twin towers were what caused them to collapse demolition style but how did the smaller WTC collapse?

I have seen 3 museums/displays in my life that caused me to become teary eyed and emotional.

The 9/11 museum is one of them- it is a must see.

Yep, compared to the surroundings makes it even more impressive. Those things fall slightly to the side instead of straight down on top of themselves and it would have been much worse.

It's almost like someone rigged them with explosives to fall that way.

:alien:
You're probably joking, but jet fuel burns at 1,500 degrees while steel melts at about 2,300 degrees. So you tell me whether or not the towers were rigged with explosives.

I was 25 and standing across the river from the WTC when it happened. I'll never forget it.
So crazy, the rest of us will probably forget about it since we weren't there.

Weird that a guy with the username Bilderberg is a conspiracy, know-it-all honk. Would've never guessed it.

Truly a sad day for our country..I remember like it was yesterday..I took my sons out side that night, they were 5,3 and 2 at the time, As we looked up at the night time sky I told them that was the first and only time in my life that you could see no planes flying..

I was working in DC at the time, not too far from the White House. The thing I remember the most is when I left work that day around 6:00pm (many left that morning, but I decided to stay), the streets were so empty, military police were on just about every corner and the metro ride home was empty too.

Tell my story every year but am done with that. I'll just say I was working in Trump Tower at the time. 2 things:

1. Any conspiracy theory related to 9/11 is pure bunk and you are an idiot if you believe them.
2. Any idiot that wants open borders should be exterminated with extreme prejudice.

Are you implying jet fuel doesn't burn at 1,500 degrees and steel doesn't melt at 2,300 degrees?
Think about what you're saying...that pol just were able to come in and rig explosives in the busiest civilian building in the entire world and no one said "hey, what yall working on". There would have to be so many ppl in on it, down to the ticket takers in the airport it would be the biggest secret in history. Put it this way...bill Clinton coukdnt keep getting his dome polished a secret but you think the govt could hide this. Lol okay.

Also..you do understand the buildings weren't just empty with steel, correct? They were full of flammable materials, like wood, plastic, everything. You know things that raise temperatures when burning

I'm implying that I doubt you have an education that lends itself to the proper understanding of these issues.

Yea yea, I know. Youtube videos....

Wood burns at 451 degrees. It doesn't get hotter as it burns, idiot. Just because something is flammable it doesn't mean that it will get hot enough to melt steel, thereby making a building whose structure is steel collapse like a house of cards.

So because you happened to be in New York City when the towers collapsed "any conspiracy theory related to 9/11 is pure bunk"? [laughing]

I'll just say you are great at non-sequiturs.

When it first happened news reports actually reported bombs had exploded. Those reports were obviously quickly taken back though

Don’t you think the buildings integrity was compromised when hit by a jumbo jet at 300 mph?

At only 1100 degrees, steel only has 50% integrity.

It doesn't need to melt, it just needs to get hot and thus weaken.

So steel has to be completely melted into liquid form before it will weaken and start to collapse under the unimaginable weight of a skyscraper? You’ve said this fact multiple times and I still don’t think you realize how monumentally stupid it is and how lacking in basic knowledge of how metals work it is.

I imagine the initial reports were taken back about the time the second plane hit the WTC as it was shown on live TV.

The "missile" that hit the Pentagon was hidden inside the AA plane that hit the Pentagon, correct? Because there are 100s of witnesses who saw an AA plane hit the Pentagon.
