According to the box score - the penalties are even for both WVU and Pitt with 5 per team. Sure doesn't seem like that with WVU getting a penalty on every big play of theirs.

WVU is leading the total yards battle by about 100. Pitt has 201 passing yards vs. 19 rushing. I'm not watching the game but maybe Pitt had some short fields to work with.
