Are we in the Twilight Zone? Did these announcers just say Rutgers is eyeing a BIG Championship and a playoff birth? On top of that, they labeled Iowa as a "playoff hopeful". Who wrote this introduction to the broadcast?
It's the 4th game of the season... everyone's goals and dreams are still achievable.
rutgres struck back quickly. Their passing game is working with Kadillacanus. 7-7.
One of the announcers said after the rutgres TD that iowa has had “one of the best defenses in the country forever”. For f*ck’s sake.

iowa just wants to complete a forward pass. they can do it.Everyone except Rutgres...

Rutgres’ d-line is undersized relative to Iowa’s O-line and their secondary grabs more than scUm’s.

I didn’t see any of this game, but suffice it to say, both teams looked better than PSU.
Their defense will fade as the season proceeds when they start playing against teams that can play power football. Also, unless Rutgers is this good at passing, it appears as if Iowa’s secondary is pretty weak.
Rutgers lines up for a FG, then false starts to move it back 5 yards, and then the kicker doinks the kick off the upright.
I noticed this when Iowa was playing Iowa State. Whenever Iowa spreads their OL they’re very vulnerable to gap breakdowns.
Wanted to post this. You beat me to it. It really is unbelievable how much they hold and commit pass interference.
