USC vs Mizzou has been a back and forth game. USC can't run the ball, but Mizzou can't cover wide receivers. USC can cover but can't stop the outside zone. Probably the most interesting thing about this game, Mizzou dropkicks their kickoffs.

I’m asking pro big game James boys if they are confident we win. I see “keep James” but no win confidence
Yeah PSU wins. That’s my prediction. Not sure how that makes a difference to you. I guess if there are enough PSU predictions and Vegas agrees then it’s a W?

I also predict I win the lottery, the Pirates win the World Series next year and when PSU wins you and other ‘fans’ will finally stop whining.

See how relevant predictions are????

11/14/20 Nebraska 30 PSU 24
11/21/20 Iowa 41 PSU 21

I rest my case.

And please don’t blame it on Covid. Every team was dealing with identical circumstances.
Yeah 5 years ago translates to this year. Brilliant.

God Beau looks great in an offense that features an RPO scheme. I’m saying this in a vacuum meaning nothing against the current offense we are running with the current qb we have of course.

Juss sayin….
He's hit on just 61% of his passes and threw a pick when they keep almost all their passes within 7 yards. You're not "just saying"--you're clearly not watching. Mizzou's run game is why they're winning--not Beau.

If you like running QBs that's great--there's a ton better than Beau

Just missed a wide open guy on 3rd down when he had to make an NFL throw--push that comp % down even more. Maybe got bailed out with SCar roughing the punter

I wonder how they think Beau would do against OSU and Oregon.

And he didn’t mention the four wins in a row after that and then five more in a row to start the next year.
Are you talking about 2021? The season James managed to lose three (3) in a row?

10/9/21 PSU 20 Iowa 23

10/16/21 Bye

10/23/21 Illinois 20 PSU 18

10/30/21 Ohio State 33 PSU 24

Franklin’s football history is defined by two things:

1) an inability to beat top 15 teams

2) extended losing streaks caused by coddling coaching (ie an inability by coaches and players to deal with adversity).

Franklin has set the bar artificially high this season by claiming this is the best team he has ever had, yet his OL is dysfunctional and his defense refuses to tackle.

He's dirty as hell. After watching this game, I have no idea anymore what constitutes targeting. Twice now they've called it, replay clearly shows helmet to helmet, both clearly with the crown, and both were waived off.

Well, if Allar gets hurt then there’s a chance he may have a streak like he did in 2021.

I just checked this week's Pick'Em. Every single contestant, including me, picked Clemson to win. smh

It looks as though only 2 contestants picked Tulsa to beat Okla. St.

Only 5 contestants picked Memphis to beat Arkansas.

Why ever would you post something like that?

Really poor form.
Because you’re posting as if there was no reason why Franklin lost three in a row in 2021….you conveniently forgot the starting QB got hurt. Only posting half the facts is worse form.

I am watching or I wouldn’t have commented. Yes the running game is winning the game for them. It’s clear you don’t understand how and RPO offense works if you are blindly stating the running game is what’s winning them the game without acknowledging that having a QB that can gash you on the ground causes your D to play the run game different allowing your Rb’s to get free. Watch the Landon Tengwall video showing this offense with Drew vs Beau (square peg round hole). Same plays that lead to two different results due to two different QB’s.

After last season I was excited to have Drew back and expected him to make a massive step forward. Hasn’t happened yet. He actually looks like he’s regressed. Doesn’t mean he can’t. But Beau has played better against better competition. Not sure why people like you get so touchy about it.

I’m not the only one thinking Beau is currently playing better than Drew.

Beau’s playing just like he did at PSU….he’s a very good runner, just like he was here.

Pure talent Drew is a much better thrower and NFL prospect than Beau is. But in college football, fit is a big part if you run a particular style offense. If Drew takes that step to become elite like we all thought he was going to do then this isn’t a conversation. But if you have a qb that struggles throwing the ball and also doesn’t fit the running style of the offense coordinator it becomes a point of discussion. My hope is Drew shake’s it all off and becomes a heisman candidate! This is just a discussion now due to Drew’s play. Could all be washed away next weekend (fingers crossed).
