Pure talent Drew is a much better thrower and NFL prospect than Beau is. But in college football, fit is a big part if you run a particular style offense. If Drew takes that step to become elite like we all thought he was going to do then this isn’t a conversation. But if you have a qb that struggles throwing the ball and also doesn’t fit the running style of the offense coordinator it becomes a point of discussion. My hope is Drew shake’s it all off and becomes a heisman candidate! This is just a discussion now due to Drew’s play. Could all be washed away next weekend (fingers crossed).
I get what you’re saying but every coach in the country would have taken Allar over Beau.

I am watching or I wouldn’t have commented. Yes the running game is winning the game for them. It’s clear you don’t understand how and RPO offense works if you are blindly stating the running game is what’s winning them the game without acknowledging that having a QB that can gash you on the ground causes your D to play the run game different allowing your Rb’s to get free. Watch the Landon Tengwall video showing this offense with Drew vs Beau (square peg round hole). Same plays that lead to two different results due to two different QB’s.

After last season I was excited to have Drew back and expected him to make a massive step forward. Hasn’t happened yet. He actually looks like he’s regressed. Doesn’t mean he can’t. But Beau has played better against better competition. Not sure why people like you get so touchy about it.

I’m not the only one thinking Beau is currently playing better than Drew.

The fact you're even comparing him to Allar is laughable but you have an agendda.
I'm well aware of what the RPO is. They don't need Beau--did you watch Missouri last year? Do you know who Brady Cook is?
Drew doesn't look like he's regressed at all--you just want that to be true.
Beau's played no competition--Kansas is absolutely garbage and South Carolina gave up 31 points at home against Vandy.
No one is touchy--you simply have an agenda and I don't tolerate nonsense.
I'm sure when he does well against UMass next week you'll think that's impressive too

Wow…you really are touchy. Everyone is right about you.

Drew is never going to be a running QB nor should anyone want him to be. It doesn't even make sense.
At no point is he struggling to throw the ball
You're full of it--you want to bash him hence you started this nonsense again tonight when Beau didn't even play well. Another pick today--to go along with inaccuracy. He is who he is--Grunk is better.

Tom Allen has been a failure at Clemson. Perhaps we won in spite of him last season? Pretty easy to run a good defense with Abdul Carter and company.

This sentence alone shows you are NOT dealing in reality. It’s ok to admit he’s struggling. Join me in the world of acceptance.

He's not but you don't understand what you're watching. If you actually review tape and understand things such as route running and defensive schemes you'd comprehend. Part of the problem is you focus on his mechanics--and dislike him throwing off his back foot--which all QBs do that have his arm strength. When the WRs start running sharper routes you'll see his accuracy improve. Well, you should but...

When did I ever mention mechanics or back foot throwing in this discussion you kooky screwball. You’re like Dabo Sweeney trying to shoehorn points you want to make for arguments that aren’t happening. You are arguing with the voices in your head. Drew must be your “precious”. Adios Gollum

Just heard the announcers on the MSU USC game just say “we call that a face shot”. Late night college ball is gonna get wild tonight.

Despite you posting it twice, there’s a good chance it happens.

Have you forgotten the Franklin Funk?
Want to put $ on it? We both post up…I’ll put up 10k and you put up 1k. We find someone like Tom M to hold it…we lose all 5 and you get the $11k. We don’t and I get it. Fair bet for something that has a good chance of happening?
