I was in the south end zone on the field (row 1) for that game. It was hot and a long afternoon. Iowa played that game not to lose and almost did. What are the odds of ONE player blocking a field goal on back-to-back plays to save the win?

I was in row one of the student section contemplating ever going home to Cedar Falls again or just jumping off the top of Kinnick.

That was one of the most frustrating games I have ever witnessed and I want to punch you for bringing it up. We better win by a lot Saturday.

That was one of the top 3 or 4 hottest games that I’ve been to at Kinnick. I never would have thought that night after that game that we’d have the ball with less than a minute left in the 4th quarter with a chance to win the Big Ten title in Ohio Stadium. Of course Kirk didn’t think so either so he played for overtime, still the most gutless thing I think he’s ever done in his career.

Iowa and KF deserved to lose that game. I felt terrible for UNI. Blocking TWO FGs back-to-back may be less likely than a hail mary, and that's what it took for Iowa to slink away with a one-point win over the FCS boys from UNI. Incredible.

Farley was a good coach and guy. That should have been his big day. I actually felt bad for him.

Farley was a good coach and guy. That should have been his big day. I actually felt bad for him.

That 2007 squad ran into Joe Flacco, but that was his day. Walking into Ames and beating the wheels off of them. Crazy how things have changed so much, I bet Eric Sanders would've garnered one heck of an NIL offer to play up in the FBS.
