One of my daughters was born DURING the 92 BB game with KU...an overtime W for the Cornhuskers. Tried to get the doctor to slow things down and he was all in because we were both watching the game. Wife was having no part of it. They did wheel in I TV so we could watch the second half in delivery room. Thought the Doc wasn't going to make the catch because we were watching the TV

I liked Rex. Always gave 100%. Also he was from Omaha. Plus he gave fat boy Mike Francesca a lot of crap back in the day.

If Fred can consistently recruit talent on par with what Nee did and coach it up, I think he will get NU over the hump. Nee raised NU's talent level, but not sure how well he coached that talent.
