Stupid? It reads like you're upset....maybe because, at least last night if not for the entire tournament, it (in fact) looked like the Big 12 was COMPLETELY OVERRATED.

I don't get your logic at all. The Big XII had two teams in the elite eight and one in the final 4. OU didn't play good at all last night, but in my opinion, that doesn't mean they were over rated! I consider myself very objective, I personally don't even care about how the Big XII is perceived.

We had teams in the Sweet 16, two in the Elite 8 and one in the Final 4. It's a 10 team conference, doesn't seem all that bad to me. You and paper just like getting worked up.

Besides, if the B12 was overrated, who the hell cares?

I'll absorb and consider your opinions why the Big 12 isn't overrated but pretending perception (aka who the hell cares) isnt an issue is something we're in a wide disagreement about...

Most teams make the NCAA tourney based on the 'perceptions' of people. Sure, the regular season matters... ...but human beings just don't have the ability to ignore past results. I'd say next years Big 12 bubble team took a hit with this years results.

I get that, but I'm pretty sure most agree TTech shouldn't even have been in the tourney. I just don't think it really matters if we are the #1 or the #3 conference, doesn't matter much. May keep a bubble team out, but honestly if you are on the bubble, you didn't have a good enough season in the first place!!

How surprising,,.coming from you telling us how a Big 12 team that made it to the Final Four constitutes the conference as over rated. What's next, the early 90s Buffalo Bills were losers because they lost 4 Super Bowls in a row?

The only thing predictable is you preying upon posters and the program with your thinly veiled "failure" comments to make yourself feel better about your pathetic life. But keep up with the stubborn rhetoric how it's on everyone else like you enjoy telling anyone who disagrees with you.

One Final Four team (which got destroyed) in the last three seasons doesn't exactly scream that the Big 12 is the preeminent conference in America, Papillion.

Well....the Bills were losers in 4 SB's. So despite being a good/great team they will always be remembered for those losses by an average score of 35-18 (despite the wide right game). It's just the way it is....

Here's where your analogy has merit... ...the Bills were in the SB because they were the best the AFC had to offer (in the NFC...doubtful they even make a single appearance). The NFC was CLEARY the better conference for 13 years with the Bills SB games in the middle of that undefeated NFC SB era. During those 13 years almost all of those SB were not even close...

...so yea, like the AFC the Big 12 would have to send teams that may not really be up to (merit) the big show...

...so you make a great point.

You're putting words in my mouth. Who said anything about "preeminence?" I was referring to legit, strong, one of the best, etc. Losing one game doesn't erase that.

Yea... ...one game eliminated all the Big 12 teams... ....several in an embarrassing fashion (like WVU).

The Big 12 was over rated..............but so was the ACC and the SEC and a few other conferences. The league that Nova plays in was under rated. Check it out.

The Pac 12 is over- rated. The Sunbelt Conference is over- rated. Over- rated is over- rated. HighFatMilk is over- rated. The Big XII is the best Conference compared to the Ohio Valley HS Conference and greyhound racing.

You can't base conference rankings on one or two tournament games. Sometimes teams just don't match up well with others, or you could just have an off night. I still think we play SFA again we beat them and if we would have won that game we would have met Carolina.
