like I said in the "cusp" thread, if we can just survive this season & get to 6+ wins, then look the hell out - this program will explode. What a veteran team we will return for 2017, hope to god it is off postseason experience AND no more shakeup in the coaching staff/coordinators/schemes.

(well OK, if we were to dump Elliot after the season & hire soon-to-be-ex Vandy coach Mason as DC I won't be heartbroken)

As for young teams, Florida is one of the youngest in America with a total of 9 scholarship Seniors on the entire team.

The 2016 Gators have a total of 3 Senior starters on the team ....one Safety, Linebacker, and Defensive Tackle. It is likely they will lose 2 Junior defensive starters to the NFL, too, a CB and DT. They only lose a total of 3 additional players from the 2-deep, one 2nd-string LB, QB, and WR.

In 2017, UF should return 11 starters on offense, 6 starters on defense, both kickers ... 16 of the top 24 players.
