Just in case anyone here missed it, I just used it as part of lesson on marketing... such a good one. We run the college basketball world.
Just such a ball-drag-on-your-face commercial... the song, the people involved, the fact that Duke gets the key section, with the main character failing and working and growing and succeeding, that there is NO attempt to make it "Generic College #1" but it's SO clear that it is Duke... only thing I would have liked is a HALF second cameo by the GOAT, given how closely tied to Nike he is, but hell, you can't have everything.
and the fact some unc ranted and raved about it being unfair.....EVEN though they had a Jordan brand commercial featuring them and georgetown a few years prior....
Then it must have pissed off smell UK and unc cheater u fans. I hope if they see it again it's pisses them off again. Love to see them irritated.
