I thinking about two. I'm going first with the Nile. OFC

Just a side note there is some conflict about the longest. One source says theirs is the longest while another makes the claim. I remember seeing it somewhere. Don't remember which is the officially recognized one so I picked the one I think it is. If not it"s my second choice. OFC

The Nile is just a bit longer. Perhaps 40 miles. Both are 4,100+ miles if I recall. I think that the Amazon has a much greater volume

Buddy Holly had a hit song in 1957. He wrote the song minutes after seeing John Wayne in 'The Searchers'. John Wayne's catchphrase in the movie became the name of the song. What was the name of the song?

I haven’t seen any John Wayne films in a long time but if I’m remembering correctly, his catch phrase was either Pilgrim or Hey Pilgrim but I’m not sure which one.

Very good guesses. I have a way of making things confusing. It's a great song. One of Buddy Holly's best. It was only John Wayne's catchphrase to show skepticism in the movie 'The Searchers'. Not something he used in every movie. It was probably Buddy Holly's best song. He and his bandmate were imitating the Duke, and twenty minutes later they had written a hit song.

I just looked it up and I would’ve never guessed that lol

Thanks! I listened to Norah Jones a few minutes ago. I also watched Billy Stewart from 1966 on YouTube. I love his giant hat

if you like opera sapronos check out Kathleen Battle or Renee Fleming. They are excellent, just not my favorite style for this song. I'll have to check out Billy Stewart.
