WOW, very good Mrdibbs.

one of his nick names was "scissors"..............Scissorspanski
When my dad enrolled me in first grade, in Shreveport, LA he enrolled me under a more pronounceable name which I legally have today.
My wife, Becahi Class of 1974, had your Dad as a teacher.

If your boss called you by the wrong name or mispronounced your last name all of the time would you like it? A person’s names means something to them and taking the time to learn how to pronounce it shows respect.

Yes, EPC. I remember many yrs ago you mentioned you remembered my dad or something to that nature. Thank you for the remembrance.
He passed in July of 2005 in the Wilkes-Barre VA nursing home.

He needs to learn how to pronounce Allar's last name. It's embarrassing at this point.
One never knows what is correct. Ray Davies from the Kinks was always pronounced as Day-vees. He is on Letterman one-night and Letterman refers to him as Ray Day-viss. A discussion ensues and the proper pronunciation was always Day-viss. He said he didn't really care and never corrected anyone.

So only Drew knows the correct pronunciation and he may or may not wish to share.

Brenneman asked Drew on his podcast. He gave the correct pronunciation. It’s not the way Franklin pronounces it.
