Folks, looking around d1 forums on Shaq Carter. Don’t sleep on this kid. Lots of very positive reviews. I expect to see better chemistry.

Good question. I didn't watch/keep up with him because he was committed to Rutgers. I tracked about a dozen "available" JuCo guys this season (which is about a dozen more than I tracked in the last six years).

You go to juco to do one thing. Get a basketball scholarship. I followed the progressions of teammates and saw how hard the program pushed for everyone to get a scholarship. They market their players 24/7. Can’t be sure but I do believe not everyone had scholarship and they were trying to get exposure.

Bandoo from JUCO would be interesting. At this point, I don't know how strong the JUCO route is for a program is the state ours is. Risky.

Bandoo looks like a good player who does a little bit of everything, but he is still only here for two years, and if he does really well, might deter a 2018 kid.

I like four year players, or a grad transfer. Not sure how I feel about the JUCO route.

Bandoo looks like he can step right in and help us right away.

I could see that. Combo guard but can still handle the ball. We still don’t have a good enough ball handler though, but I expect Baker to take a big leap this offseason. Kid can chase the NBA.
