I can't wait for that movie. He plays that character perfectly. Just debating if I should take my 14 year old son to see it. He wants to see it bad. I am not worried about the language and violence. I believe there is going to be sexual content and graphic nudity though.
It's probably something I'd feel weird about watching with my dad if I were 14.

I don't think I would take my 14 year old to this. Although you could see it first and judge. He has a PSA for breast cancer as well.
I don't care about killing and maiming, but what if he sees a titty?!?
He's been playing video games with killing and language in it for a few years. He knows it's fake and you don't do it. He knows the difference between right and wrong. It is just a matter of should he be exposed to sex and nudity? Would I be a bad parent for exposing him to it? I'm sure he has looked at stuff on his phone with me not around. That is a bit different than sitting next to your old man watching it.
Just like you said, he's been watching internet porn for at least 6 months now. Its not like they're going to have hardcore penetration in the movie, he might see a titty here and there. Guess I don't see the big difference in that and massive violence.

Way off topic here but it does seem kind of insane that we subject ourselves to watching countless hours of violence and depravity without blinking an eye, but treat the completely natural act of sex like it's some kind of devil worshiping activity. saw the movie last night at the 10:00pm showing of our local theater.
it does not disappoint. Exactly what I'd hope a Ryan Reynolds Deadpool movie would be.
no spoilers from me but I will say that during the credits at the end, not related to the movie - a cartoon version of Deadpool does something to a unicorn and makes it shoot rainbows.
That should pretty much set the tone for you as how the entire movie is.
Even the Stan Lee cameo is perfect.

Reynolds really bombed as Green Latern, but this role does seem to be more up his ally. Sort of like a Superhero Van Wilder character.
My bet is he is much more successful at his second attempt than Ben Affleck will be as Batman (versus Daredevil).

Deadpool is awesome though Kooky. He's different. He can break the 4th wall. He has a nasty mouth and is the best R rated Marvel character. (my favorite character). I know the Punisher could give him a run for his money in the R Rated department.
Saw it yesterday and I couldn't recommend it more. Ryan Reynolds was cast perfectly in that role. Lot's of action, humor, and gore. Go see it if you haven't gone yet. If you have, go see it again.
