2) kick off the team malcontents today. Target 1- 2 most discontent/distructive players and send home for good. Let them keep NIL if necessary, but get them out.
3) Give Pope till end of the year to right the ship and get control of the basketball program. If he demonstrates material progress (which is seriously in question) then keep him. If not, bounce him at end of season.

All the above are reasonable.

Mitch is a hatchet man who sucks the money in at the expense of the sporting teams. Most AD’s won’t do that because the boosters will run them out. Mitch has got people that approve of this and that why he isn’t demanded to win at a high level. He’s made sure revenue is controlled by UK along with the endorsements / NIL. Is short, he’s found a way to stay as an AD 23 years by hurting his sports teams to create wealth for the business / academic side.

I will believe it’s around this area until I die. He should have been fired after Gillispie and Joker. Anywhere else he would have been. We’re lucky Calipari came here when he did, as you see he had Mitch removed from basketball. Now he’s hired Pope who will talk about how great he is so why do you think he wanted him? He’s got his control back, and hiring a coach unqualified won’t rock his boat. He loves Mitch, he gave him a job when he shouldn’t have. Pope knows that.

If this isn’t corruption, I don’t know what is.
