AAC Schedule

[TU_BLA]

AAC portion of the basketball schedule is going to be released today. Wonder what wonderful timeslots we'll get for our biggest games as the AAC hopes to drum us down again. Hasn't worked the 1st 2 years like they hoped.

Pretty favorable schedule IMO. Only play UCONN once (at home) and Temple once (on road). Lots of Saturday and Wednesday home games (so far...we'll see what TV does to destroy that). UCONN game is at home on New Year's Eve (Saturday). SMU at home on a Saturday night (Feb.4 ). First week of February will be pretty exciting at the Don Rey.

Agreed, except I don't care for New Year's Eve timing on Uconn. Pretty heavy opening four games.

I can't think of a better lead in to a wild New Year's than TU basketball. Provided at my old age I don't get tired after the game.

I agree it's a good way to start the New Years Eve festivities. I'm just thinking about the casual fan being busy that day and not attending. Will cost us a few fans. I'm glad about the time of the uconn game though. Not too early, but just early enough to not get in the way of getting ready for a party.

If that's my only gripe, and it is, all in all it's a good schedule.
