What a waste of time and scholarship he is for Memphis just like he was for us. He scored seven points tonight and played like nine minutes and fouled out. 7 feet one and he had zero rebounds tonight. I can’t believe he was so highly rated coming out out of high school.
He was shoved to the floor by Purdue's big and was called for his 5th. They even reviewed it which was comical.

All 3 of the bigs from that year sucked. Even Big Z never really lived up to his hype. I can't remember the third ones name.

He's super feminine. Runs like Richard Simmons. No chance he'll ever be anything. I'm not sure he even flopped today. He's just super soft.

I didn’t even know he landed in Memphis. I thought his days would be numbered when he was caught in the point shaving scandal. I feel like he has been in college a very long time, like he plays for Kansas type of long time.

That high school class was pretty weak. Both he and Wagner were #1 in the class at some point. Reed Sheppard though has emerged as being pretty good.

Honestly I don’t think he cares. A lot of these guys at some point in their lives decide they don’t want to be pros. They love the game, but it’s just not important to them anymore

But naturally he was suddenly highly skilled and effective when Ohio State played UK last year. Go figure.
Who hasn't been highly skilled and effective against Pope's defense. The Mikel Brown Jr. shoots 13% (2-15) against Kansas and against us he shoots 50% ( 8 of 16). Michigan State as a team was shooting 21% (13-60) on the year, but against us they shoot 50% (11-22). We have real defense issues.

He definitely was a huge miss in the ratings. He has never gotten stronger and never improved any part of his game.

That's what's so weird about that loss to Ohio State in MSG last year. Bradshaw dominated our entire front court. I'm still scratching my head at that.
Another embarrassing Pope game. When we play bad under him, we are bad and do things like that. No way a kid like him should have ever dominated our team last year.

Just goes to show you, recruiting can be a crap shoot, and some classes are just better than others. Bradshaw was highly sought after, and it's clear that it wasn't just UK/Cal that couldn't make him work. Imagine if that class had a guy like Boozer, or even an Amari Williams type.

That 2023 class was full of busts. Wagner, Edwards, Mgbako, Mikey Williams, Omaha Biliew, Bradshaw, etc etc.

I wouldn’t call Wagner a bust, he’s a solid college player which is what most guys his size will end up being. Yeah he’s not number 1 NBA level like he should be, but he’s no bust. Edwards is at least in the league and same with Mgbako just a good college player. Just a class with little NBA talent.
