Did we really offer? Nothing on his Twitter page indicates we did so. Announcing later today. Iowa appears to be best offer.

Kids rightfully post every offer as self promotion to attract more attention and offers. He would have posted a second Power 5 offer. So I’ll go with no NU never offered.

He doesn't have another high academic looking at him so likely NU could not offer

Sidenote: I saw a Michigan sophomore announce via his Twitter that he had taken an unofficial visit to NU. With the new NCAA rules in place, he couldn't meet with the coaching staff or anyone from the athletic department, as I understand the rule. He could basically tour the campus like anyone else.

Well, then you would be wrong. We offered just like when I announced his brother verballed to Kentucky a week before any of the so called gurus knew. Check archives

Any insights on who might be our first commit. It would be nice to buck expectations and finish middle of the pack ( or better) and get a good class. Losing Bamisile hurts but c’est la vie. Hopefully this year shows him what he could be joining and recruits flick to Evanston. Collins will learn not to get a pg once every 4 years which was his fatal flaw

I think what Collins learned is that nobody wants to sit on the bench and be a backup PG at Northwestern.
