Abandon the 3-4 now

This is one of Stoops worst decisions and it's going to end his UK era.
1. in a 4-3..Ware could be fine as a edge DE. Allen is not quite there but could be serviceable. Miggins could play DE but is a bit ofa tweener for a 4-3.

We'll now that I type this mess....we simply have some sucky DL. We can't run a 4-3 or 3-4 with this hot mess of DL kids.

After watching this defense on the field, i don't really think it matters much what defense we decide to run. Our guys look so clueless out there. It shouldn't be this way after this many years of being the head coach. I don't know what to think. It's not good, that is the nice way of saying it.
Never liked the 3-4. Even most NFL teams cannot afford to run it.
DE and DT have been UK's achilles heels for decades. There are tons of big linemen out there, but UK can never get the ones who are fast and athletic enough. The 3-4 requires them to be even bigger than the 4-3.

Unfortunately you may be correct. But it is insanity to keep the 3-4 at this point. A change most likely won't happen this year. But if Stoops is somehow not fired he must abandon it
When you have 3 lineman trying to go against 6-7 blockers...loss every time. We ONLY pressured the QB when we brought that fourth guy off the edge.
Elliot needs to be fired and Stoops takes total control of the defense that way he has no one else to blame.
