I've always been fascinated with abandoned places.
Guy I know used to be big into urban exploring.
Old malls, hospitals, schools.
Just something surreal about those kinds of places.

Medora Elementary (Valley Station) took a field trip to Waverly Hills Mental Sanatorium in 1968. Really wasn't a very good idea.
That’s old Hayswood Hospital. I drive by it every day. Was born there.
I too was born there. I drive by it everytime I come home to visit my Mom who still lives downtown.

Anybody seen any cool abandoned places here in the ol' Bluegrass State lately? My friends and I prowl around central and eastern Kentucky every once in a while. Planning a trip to Black Mountain, never been there before.
I'm thinking about getting a drone, but I don't know a darn thing about them and so I'd appreciate any info about 'em from somebody who does. =)
