Jesus Abdul, if you’re going to smoke a fatty neutralize or disarm the smoke alarm first.

Set off smoke alarms. Early August
These mysterious and cryptic messages are exciting, but I think it would be super interesting to see the original article/source...ANY tangible information would be swell as the post only inspires questions and confusion. Like you took the time to post...just add more credible information maybe? I think it would be really dope.

Dope appears to be the problem here. Original source is a competing website. Didn’t think posting the link here would be appreciated. It’s all over the web now. Ben Jones commented on it. Franklin said it was handled internally. You should be able to find these things as easily as I did.

IMO he should have been held out of the WVa game. He broke the law and team rules and he admitted it. I'm not saying it was a serious crime but I don't think it sets a good example to let these things slide. Franklin says it has been handled internally but WTF does that mean? Run a few more suicides?

I think the days of running endless laps and suicide sprints as a punishment are long gone. A couple of players go rouge and find a reporter who wants to make their bones, and the coach maybe looking for another job.

What is he saying? The police should have let it go?
I believe he is pretty clear there and police don't particularly want to police that drug anymore. More seem to want to decrimininalize it than want to keep the same antiquated views around. The overdosing.....of Oreos while real can be fixed with some sleep. Hell officers in NJ can consume when off duty, but a college kid in the dorms......well we need to get him.

I took it as they (should) have better things to do.

I get it, but the law is the law. Plus, smoke detectors were set off. Horne sounds like a culture problem. Would he care if it was a regular student? Granted, it wouldn’t be a story, but Horne probably wouldn’t care.

Is Horne pro-weed or pro-football?

Agree. Just my 2 cents but people like him are what's wrong with society today.

This thread would probably not even exist if the offender was Karson Kieseswetter.

FFS. News media trying to sensationalize things yet again. Isn't there a witch hunt group in the area that wants to sensationalize anything and everything about PSU? I am sure this guy just misplaced his medical marijuana card.

It’s interesting that it is not a crime in SC but is on campus.
It is a crime in SC but the borough enacted an ordinance which allows officers to charge possession of a small amount as a summary instead of a misdemeanor. Maybe the PSU administration will eventually wise up and do the same. The vast, vast majority of people charged with possession of a small amount wind up on ARD anyway. Being able to simply issue a citation lessens the amount of time required from the courts and the police.

I don't think police went into Carter's room looking to nail him on marijuana charges. They were responding to a fire alarm and they looked into why it went off. Then they saw a crime. I don't think it's their job to decide what crimes to enforce.
