What if the Big 12 and ACC formed a Super Conference with 4 divisions and 6 teams in each. This type of conference could score a HUGE TV NETWORK and would keep rivalries and renew rivalries. You would take the top team from the East and the top team from the West and they could battle it out for the championship. Better yet would be to have a 4 team playoff for the conference championship. You would play everyone in your division (5 teams), 2 teams from other division in your side (East or West), and 1 team each from the other divisions (East or West). If we wanted to include ND, then we would give them 4 games per year, 1 from each division on a round robin basis. So every team would play ND every 6 years. They get two, we get two but I would be in favor of dropping ND. Clemson's schedule every year would have Miami, FSU, NC ST., GT, and WF. We would get 2 different teams from the Midatlantic Division, 1 team from the Texahoma Division, and 1 team from the Midwest Division. Pipe dream, but thoughts?

We could potentially swap out the Oklahoma schools for the Kansas Schools to even things out. West Virginia would get to add Pitt, and Louisville back to their schedule while still playing some of their new Big 12 teams as well and mixing in some ACC foes around them.

or, how about 132 schools form a super conference and call it....the NCAA. Oh wait, it's already been done. Just playing, truthfully this constant expansion is annoying. They are doing their best to kill the appeal of college football.
