Who do you believe to be the final 16 teams added to these 2-24 team conferences you're suggesting? Maybe it will be 3-24 team conferences in the end, but assuming you're right, who will be the 16 added?

I'll help you out with half of them - Oregon, Washington, Stanford, Clemson, Miami, FSU, Virginia, North Carolina. Who are the rest?

The BIG 12 is expected by many if not most to be the most likely third conference.

WVU is IN the BIG 12 and despite people trying to confuse Mountaineers into hating their own conference ( along with convincing other BIG 12 fanbases the same). That is where WVU is and will be long term.

Many consider the ACC the most vulnerable conference due to financials as well as multiple attractive schools due to such things as perceived academics and location.

The PAC as we are seeing also has many schools with a high likelihood of moving on and that conference going away.

WVU is a member of Big 12 because ACC has said no for 70 plus years and Missouri said get out of the way WVU we're next to SEC. The SEC seems to have forgotten WVU existence and BIG 12 was only one that said yes as both were desperate at the time.
